Questioned as above,
as Ive been photograping, being my favorite hobby, I learned my true passion is landcape.
I am going to use my dads slr camera as my digital camera is useless.
What do I need… Lens etc…
I really would love to upgrade to an SLR camera from my point and shoot. I am an avid scrapbooker and I love to get shots of random things. I am expecting in November and we have some home improvement things that need to happen before the baby is born, so price will be a factor. I currently have a Kodak Z712, so I would love to have something that has a higher zoom than what I am currently using!
Thanks so much for any information.
I am purchasing a used digital SLR through Craigslist. It’s a Nikon Coolpix 5700 for 5 with all the accessories that came with it at time of purchase. The seller said it had no scratches and was selling it because he wants a regular non-SLR camera.
I have already looked at the reviews and decided it is fitting. Since I am not a professional photographer nor plan to use it heavily, it’s not that big of a deal.
Is the camera worth the 5? What should I look for when I go to see it? Is there any way to tell if it’s damaged? Should I ask about anything specific?
Sorry for the super-long question, I am just nervous about buying my first ever SLR. Thank you!(:
I found the following used for sale: Canon A-1 body 35mm SLR camera, Canon lens FD 24 mm f/1:2.8 wide angel, Canon lens FD 50 mm f/1:1.8 w/skylight filter, Canon lens FD 50 mm f/3.5 S.S.C. And two lens hoods. All the above lenses will fit the follow Canon body’s (F-1, A-1, AE-1, T70, etc.) and have a substantial, solid feel (which is lacking in today’s autofocus lenses!!!). Lenses had filters added at the time of purchase so the glass is perfect & the coatings brilliant!!! All the lenses have a buttery smooth focus, and the diaphragm ac
I have many old but pristine filters for a 35mm slr camera. They range from ordinary haze filter, to very expensive special effects filters. Can these be used on the new digital SLR cameras ? I have yet to switch as I have too much $ tied up in lenses & so on that can not be used from old to new. I plan sometime soon to buy a really good digital SLR and will keep them if they will work. Also what kind of lens is best for shoot interior shots of rooms that shows the small rooms the best?
Thanks
